Pritha Basu is a self-motivated professional with 9+ years of experience in General Business Management and teaching. A meticulous researcher and problem solver with bilingual Chinese (Mandarin) and English skills.

Her experience ranges from managing the operations and marketing of a holiday resort and a travel company to utilizing her bilingual skills in Mandarin language as a Project Coordinator and Operations Administrator. Pritha has been working closely with the APAC region for the past three years, managing the operations in the Learning and Development industry and then managing the processes in the Supply Chain Industry.

I am also an accomplished freelance Mandarin instructor with a diverse range of students, from young learners to mature individuals. My teaching expertise covers those seeking to acquire Mandarin as a leisure pursuit and those requiring language skills for travel or business endeavours. Proficiently guiding students through HSK 1-4 levels, I am dedicated to fostering comprehensive linguistic development and cultural understanding within a tailored and professional learning environment.

She holds a Bachelor's in Arts in Communicative English from Rani Birla Girls' College, Kolkata, India. She is currently a candidate at Northwest University, Xian, China, for the Masters in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. (MTSCOL)

Apart from the above, she has been passionate about learning Mandarin language and culture since 2014. She was a candidate for the Advance Diploma in Chinese (Mandarin) Language at Northwestern University in Xi'an, China, and has also cleared various competitive Mandarin proficiency exams such as - HSK I – 89%, HSK II – 89%, HSK III – 81%, HSK IV – 80%, HSK V – 75%, HSKK Beginner – 80%, HSKK Intermediate – 70%. The Confucius Institute invited me to participate in the Chinese Bridge Competition. I have secured an impressive 3rd position in this prestigious Competition conducted by the Confucius Institute.
