Overview

Having cleared GRE (General and Cell Biology) successfully, I have a dynamic viewpoint regarding how to appear for computerized and paper-based entrance exams. Figuring out the favorite topics in Biology-based exams is my forte. Apart from that, I have supervised a number of interns during my PhD career of 5 years, all of them being premedical students at Vanderbilt University. Not only did I teach them how to work in the lab, but also mentored them for their curriculum work, project proposals and interviews for medical schools. At Tata Medical Center, I have supervised summer interns as well as long-term interns pursuing their research projects in our Institute. Moreover, I have regular didactic sessions with them to guide them through journal articles, preparations for entrance exams as well as mentor them for writing and carrying out their proposed studies. Overall, the feedback has been more than satisfactory and that is where my conflict stems from.
