I have just retired as the Deputy Photo Editor of The Times of India eastern zone this January. Having an career spanning over 36years in the field of photo journalism I have got several awards, including two silver medals as the best photographer in sports and hard news in 1997 from the Governor. My plethora of experience covers numerous remarkable events of the country. Currently, as a post retirement plan I am looking forward to teaching photo journalism because I am certain sharing my knowledge and experience of this field can help several aspiring photo journalists who will be valuable for this country in the coming days.
