2. How would you identify the poles of a magnet if they are not marked.

Disadvantage of using bar magnet is that its strength decreases as time spends due to wear and tear.Also they are not found in fixed shape.

2. How would you identify the poles of a magnet if they are not marked.

Ans 2.Suspend the bar magnet freely using a thread. The magnet will point in Geographical North South direction. The end pointing towards Geographical North is the North Pole of the magnet and the end pointing towards Geographical South is the South Pole of the magnet.

What is the use of getch(); in the end of c program

getch() is used to hold the console(output) window till user presses a key from keyboard. The program will not go to next statement(while running) till user presses a key(character from keyboard) if getch() is encountered.However the character is not printed on the screen for printing the charcter you... ...more
getch() is used to hold the console(output) window till user presses a key from keyboard. The program will not go to next statement(while running) till user presses a key(character from keyboard) if getch() is encountered.However the character is not printed on the screen for printing the charcter you will have to use getche() function.Both the function are in conio.h header file.
