Both modules are using for different domain,SAP FI is perfect who are working as accounting profession couple of years,and have strong knowledge about debit credit(not for b.com fresher student).They can succeed after done SAP FI,For SAP CO,is the most challenging part of SAP FICO Module,if any one have costing exposure,CO would be the best.

For SAP PP,require manufacturing plant production related experience or mechanical engineering degree suitable to understand this module.

Now,you can able to judge by yourself,which one is match as per your education and level of interest.

If non of above is match to your profile,go for either SAP SD or MM.Both are easy to understand.

You can  write www.open.sap.com certifications for free  if you meet the course deadlines when the anounce the schedule

There are wide varitey of courses on HANA DB, S4 HANA, C4C, Cloud connectivity etc

Please refer and follow the schedule of the specific course to complete the assignments to receive the credits and take the exam to receive " Record of Achievement" which is a valid certification in the IT industry

If you opt to go for traditional mode of certification like cloud or Exam centre based which will cost  you anywhere between $500 to $750 based on the Associate level to Professional level, you can refer SAP education of specific country you reside in

As part of SAP Mobility, you can think of learning Fiori/UI5/Gateway foundation etc , mobility cna be independent of any OS/device etc

They can take up 

(1) ABAP programming if they have a flair for programming and have knowledge of either Java or C, C ++ etc.

(2) They can get into SAP Material management (MM) or Sales & Distribution (SD).

(3) Post SAP MM, they can think of getting more into SAP Ariba (or SRM), or build their expertise around Supply chain module (SCM) which is not a dedicated module but you should have good exposure on all the modules related to supply chain, like, MM, SD, Warehouse, Plant maintenance, Logistics etc.

He or should be well versed with 

(1) Strong ABAP coding skills

(2) Working knowledge of ABAP on OOPs, 

(3) Excellent database connectivity related coding including extracting, indexing, updating, subroutines, call programs, modular and structured programming and performance tuning. 

(4) Strong knowledge in using alternative methods of data transfer since bdc is outdated technology, this may include Idocs using ale / edi / PI / PO methods. 

(5) More recent skills like ABAP on Hana would be great plus. 

(6) Good knowledge on basic functional modules like MM, SD, FI, their end to end business cycle and knowing how to work on the specific programs related to these modules.

(7) expertise in reporting using oops, alv. expertise in forms (older versions of sapscripts and the new smartforms) within the functional modules mentioned above. 

(8) expert ability to write and understand technical specifications, testing cycles (unit / integration and uat). 

(9) good communications skills, good understanding skills, good business written and reading of business english mandatory.

(10) any foreign language is a plus, you may gain a position easily with any european client, say for eg if you have german skills you can think of a german client where jobs are plenty.

I assume you are asking the difference about SAP HANA 1.0 & 2.0.

If that is the case, there are so many enhancements which SAP has developed in new version 2.0.

So many differences like from HANA 2.0 SP03 there is no single container DB everyone has to use Multi container DB, and statistics sever has been integrated to index server. There are much enhancements SAP has made and released the new versions.
