Communication is a vast topic. It could be verbal, non-verbal or written communication. For all different types of communication, different tips work. Let me first explain to you, what are the 3 types of communication, I talked about.
1. Verbal Communication: This is the communication that we make by speaking. The spoken words make up for verbal communication.
2. Non-Verbal Communication: This is the communication that we make with body language and hand gestures.
3. Written Communication: This is also known as business communication as it includes email writing, story-telling, etc.
What I presume from the question is that you wish to improve your speaking skills to improve your personality and to make a desired impact on the other person.
So, let's talk about that one quick tip.
Focus on your crutch words and filler sounds, such as, like, you know, umm, arr, err, aa, etc. The more you focus on these words, the more you would be aware of your speech pattern and hence you would improve.
Hope this helps. You can also connect for a session on communication skills for holistic improvement.
