As a Yoga teacher, my passion has always been to spread awareness about health and wellness through Yoga. I have been teaching Yoga since 2019. I completed my MA in Yoga from the prestigious Bharatiya University and am also a certified RYT 200 hours instructor. Initially, I used to work as a freelancer and taught Yoga to a few students at my home.
I started teaching online via UrbanPro. Since then, I have trained around ten to fifteen students in the art of Hatha Yoga, the traditional form of Yoga that involves the practice of physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. My classes are conducted online, and I teach students of the age group twelve years and above. The session usually begins with a prayer followed by warm-up exercises to prepare the body for the practice. I then move on to basic asanas or postures that help improve flexibility, strength, and balance. The class also includes pranayama, or breathing exercises, which help calm the mind and reduce stress.
Towards the end of the class, I guide my students through the practice of Shavasana or Corpse pose, a relaxation technique that helps the body and mind relax and rejuvenate. All my teachings align with the curriculum followed by Yoga University, and I ensure that my students understand the significance and benefits of each practice. As a teacher, I believe in the power of knowledge, and I always encourage my students to ask questions and seek clarification whenever needed. I provide notes and resources to my students, which they can refer to at any time to improve their understanding and practice.
