Having said that - short term "exam" oriented extrinsic motivation can be sought by listening to various speeches, songs, etc .... it gives a short term burst of "motivation" I must emphasize that external motivation is proven failure esp. for those who want to be leaders in life. read less

However at times in our lives we need some external motivation to restart/reignite the internal motivation. So what do we do? Listening to motivational speakers and motivational songs, watching motivational videos, movies, reading inspirational quotes and books and then reflecting on all this helps a lot. If you have the privilege of a mentor, guide, anyone in family, friend with whom you can interact, that would again add value to your quest. Once motivation is in place the studies kick-start. Then you just need to do goal-setting, mange your time effectively and ensure clarity in concepts. And you are a Winner. read less

This will help you to get a clear perspective of your priorities and will help you to stay focused on your goal or objectives. Regarding studies, it is a combination of understanding a few very important things. One, getting to understand the balance or give and take of life. Two, knowing where the focus should be instead of where it is. Third, learning to control your comfort zone rather than allowing your comfort zone to control you. Lastly, learning ways to motivate yourself every single day of your life. If you could learn to do the above, am sure you can bring about a positive change in your life. read less
