Beginner Level: I introduce students to the basics of database concepts, SQL syntax, and the Visual Query Builder in MS Access. This visual approach helps students grasp the foundational concepts before progressing to more complex topics. Intermediate Level: The training covers essential DML commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and advanced querying techniques including JOINs, subqueries, and aggregate functions. Students also learn DDL commands such as CREATE, ALTER, and DROP to define and manage database structures. Advanced Level: I delve into complex SQL queries and advanced topics on MS SQL Server, including: Stored Procedures: Creating and managing stored procedures to encapsulate and optimize SQL code. Triggers: Implementing triggers to automate actions in response to specific database events. Views: Creating views for simplified data access and security. Indexes: Designing and optimizing indexes to improve query performance. Transactions: Managing transactions to ensure data integrity and consistency. I have a robust seven-year background in game development, particularly in virtual reality (VR), complemented by extensive teaching experience. As an instructor and course designer at iDTech, a division of Emeritus, and in collaboration with NYU – Tandon School of Engineering, I have designed and delivered comprehensive curriculums for specialized AR/VR programs, Unity game development, and Roblox Lua scripting. My courses emphasize practical, hands-on learning, guiding students through real projects and ensuring they understand and can apply key principles independently. I've authored two guidebooks, "Unity Virtual Reality Development with VRTK4: A No-Coding Approach to Developing Immersive VR Experiences, Games, & Apps" and "Roblox Lua Scripting Essentials: A Step-by-Step Guide," which are integrated into my courses to provide additional support and practical exercises. In my Basic Excel training sessions, I focus on foundational skills such as data entry, formatting, and basic formula functions, ensuring participants build a strong understanding of Excel's core features. I guide learners through practical exercises to solidify their grasp of essential tools like PivotTables, charts, and data management techniques. In the Advanced Excel and Excel Macro Training sessions, I delve into more complex functionalities, such as advanced formula creation, conditional formatting, and data analysis tools. I emphasize automation through Excel Macros, teaching participants how to record and edit macros to streamline repetitive tasks. My approach ensures that learners not only understand how to create macros but also how to implement them effectively in real-world scenarios. Excel VBA Training is where I guide students through programming within Excel. I provide hands-on experience in writing VBA code, enabling them to create custom functions, automate complex processes, and develop user-friendly interfaces.
