Daipayan Duttagupta

I am a Touring/Session drummer, currently located in Chandivali, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
I have an experience of 15 years of Drumming nurturing the theoretical and practical knowledge of the instrument.
Since 2010-2016, I was located in Kolkata, where from 2010-2013, I had pursued my Bachelors on Computer Applications from N.S.E.C. (Netaji Subash Engineering College),Kolkata, side by also making my knowledge of music grow.
I come from Digboi, Assam and from there itself, I had been playing multi percussion instruments, but finally the Drum kit got me an eye, channeling and challenging myself with Genres from Rock, R&B, HIP-HOP, Blues, Metal, Hard Rock and Funk.
Since 2016, I was really dedicated on teaching new varieties of musical applications and experimentation to various people, group aging from 10-25 year olds, where I experienced and also opened up my views on the instrument, What sound to follow? and What to play?
Sound is what a person should follow, if you follow the sound you can automatically figure out what to play, on a particular setup.
Drum teaching isn't always about showing the students the charts and follow up Rudiments, But also allowing themselves to a portal where one can actually learn various ways to execute a song or a setup.
