I am in the teaching profession for the last 32 years.
Currently principal of a state board private school since 1998.
I have the experience of teaching English and Social Studies upto Std XII.I have conducted Language ,Grammar and Maths classes for primary students .I have prepared concept related worksheets for pre primary students.
I have taught English and History to NIOS students in coaching classes.
I possess good administrative skills and have a fairly good knowledge and understanding of child psychology and counselling.
I constantly update my knowledge on new teaching methods through technology.
Students and parents describe me as a teacher who is very caring and dedicated to her work.
I have prepared students for competitive activities like speech , elocution , debates , drama and also for competitive exams eg. Govt scholarship exams and exams conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation in English , Maths and Science.
I have also conducted reading challenge programs for students upto class 8 in collaboration with the Britiah Council Library.
My students are encouraged to read magazines , newspapers , write reviews for publishing in school magazines and for the Times NIE (students edition)
I would conclude by saying :
Teaching is my passion. School is my first home.
