Hello..
Digraph means 2 letters making one sound..in easy way "Di" means 2 & "graph" means written letters.
We have Consonant Digraphs- ch च (chin) ,sh श(shop), th(थthin,दthis), wh( व्ह whip), ph फ (graph)
Vowel Digraphs- ai ए (nail), ee ई(meet), ieआई (tie), oaओ(coat), ue यू (due), ea ई (leaf)
These are 2 letters saying one sound so they are called as Digraphs.

Hello..Phonics is one of the important step for learning reading in young children or whoever wants to learn a language.It involves 5 steps- 1. Learning the letter( some say alphabet) sound
2.Learning the letter formation
3.Blending/ Decoding the sounds
4.Segmeting/ Encoding the sounds
5.Tricky words/ sight words
These 5 steps will help to get to know about reading simple words and thus moving ahead for complete language learning. So this is phonics, which is important to start for reading words.
