Nigel's Academy of Music

N.A.M was started by a musician, drummer and performer since the last 20 years, Nigel Collasco.it is the outcome of his love and passion for Music. That is the reason we are not the conventional music academy that believes in teaching music only by the book. We teach, so that we can perform, we can compose, we can jam, we can record, we can make music and live our dream!
With a humble beginning of merely 2 students back in May 2013, the Academy has grown to over 130 students with 2 centers , one in Thane West and the other in Mulund West by 2016.The Academy covers all genres of western music and offers various programs for Drums, Guitar, Piano,Keyboard, Violin, ukulele, Mouth Organ ,Blues Harp ,Vocals Hindi and English and Flute. With, unconventional style of teaching the Academy follows a practical- experience based methodology which empowers the students to become performing musicians. From teaching music and giving stage performances, in the year 2017, N.A.M spread its wings and now covers Music composition, Music production and Band/Artist Management. With more than 15000+ likes on Facebook,N.A.M has been a recipient of immense love and respect from parents and students ( read testimonials).This love and support motivates us to develop new concepts and ideas to accelerate the learning and performing abilities of the students in the field of Music.
