I want to be a maths tutor in classes. Where can i get the classes??
You need to decide at what level you want to teach Mathematics ie School level, Jr college level or Degree level
Once you have figured out whom to teach prepare your resume then post that resume to repute classes in those field eg Mahesh tutorials for 10th or for 12th
Meanwhile search for classes in your local area and prepare for entire syllabus. The local classes will call you for Demo if they like your demo then they will call you. During the demo they will look for few things your subject knowledge, command on the students,interaction with the students , communication skills and presentation on the board. You should be confident in delivering lecture and you should overcome your stage few try to eye contact with everyone. At the start the minimum wage you get is 200/hours, take it if you get that opportunity it will develop your teaching skills such as course planning, black board presentation planning, how to answer question of the students and oversmart students, how to control the class and how will you make an impact to their life by your teaching. While teaching in local classes you meet Professor of other subject who also teach in many other classes, you socialise with them there is always an opening some other classes or they can recommend you to any private students to take home tuition. Home tuitions are also important you learn to develop your own notes about the subject. Later it can be used for a quick revision before taking a lecture. As you will gain experience you will know which problem solve in the class soo that the students understand the entire concept and covers wide variety of problems.
