Welcome to the world of pencil perceptions everything about pencil drawings. Portraits which talk to you, humans as well as innocent animals to lovely trees, drawing tutorials, basic & advanced, printouts as well as originals to decorate your living rooms or bedrooms, materials for drawing, resources for students.

I am Sadashiv Sawant, I have a passion for pencil drawings using graphite & charcoal, particularly portraits. From the past 30 years I am working on architectural visualizations bringing real life to the architectural presentations. While doing these architectural presentations on board as well as on computers my eyes got accustomed to analyze lights, shades, shadows and contrast. To bring reality to the images I realized that the tonal play is a vital part of rendering. Those highlights & lights, shadow & secondary shadows all play a vital role in bringing these images to life.

My passion to capture moods and feelings in a portrait brought about the thought to use the same technology to bring liveliness & depth in the area of pencil drawing. It is this thought that lead me to photorealism.

I like to take different challenges in rendering, recreating different kinds of skin texture, hair, clothing and materials. I enjoy bringing all those effects in my pencil drawings. It takes lot of patience to render any kind of effects.
