I have been involved in music for the past five years. I hold a Sangeet Visharad degree from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (GM). Recently, I was appointed an examiner at GM, which is a great honour. Previously, I worked as a professor of accounting at a college. However, as a retirement plan, I decided to shift my focus to teaching music. I particularly enjoy teaching groups of women; it has been a fulfilling experience. Throughout my musical journey, I have had the privilege of performing at various shows alongside my gurus. I have also been featured on radio shows, which has given me a platform to showcase my talent to a broader audience.
Music has been integral to my life since childhood, as my grandfather was a Sangeet Praveen. With such a rich musical heritage, it was only natural for me to pursue music. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I wanted to share my knowledge and love for music with others. As a music teacher, I specialise in vocal classical Hindustani and semi-classical music. I also teach Hindi and Marathi songs, both online and offline. My teaching follows the syllabus of Gandharva Vidyalaya, incorporating Allap notations, raga introductions, and daily assignments. This structured approach ensures that my students have a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and make steady progress.
I am dedicated to providing my students with a nurturing and supportive learning environment. It brings me immense joy to witness their growth and see them develop their musical skills. Music is a powerful medium that connects people on a deeper level, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my students' musical journeys.
