Is cake baking requires training or can I learn from the videos available online?

You can learn from the videos online, but you'l have to do a lot of trial and error to be able to actually cook them up like how they show in the videos. The final product depends a lot on the kind of ingredients and appliances used, e.g. every oven is different. so the cooking time would vary based... ...more
You can learn from the videos online, but you'l have to do a lot of trial and error to be able to actually cook them up like how they show in the videos. The final product depends a lot on the kind of ingredients and appliances used, e.g. every oven is different. so the cooking time would vary based on your oven; or the local ingredients available at your place, which might differ a lot from the videos available online. Most of these would be covered if you take up some classes along with many tips and tricks, which might not be shared in the videos. Also, any of your special requirements would be covered there e.g eggless baking or possible substitutes for a particular ingredient. Basically videos are good, if you are ready to experiment a lot, whereas training provides you with a more sure-shot way of doing things along with personalised attention.
