It's nice that you already know the guitar. You may go with learning any music, whether it's western or Indian or Carnatic. However, managing singing Carnatic music while playing the guitar could be difficult because the genres of music have a lot of variation in their style. However, both western and Indian music will go well. Indian music can help you do fusion and also sing Bollywood songs very comfortably as it creates the base. You may go for western music at a later stage depending on your passion for singing pure western songs.
