I a dedicated practitioner and educator in the realms of Hindustani classical,
light classical, Rabindra Sangeet, and Bengali singing. Additionally, my expertise
extends to teaching keyboard and harmonium. Armed with an MA in Vocal Music and
inspired by the teachings of the renowned Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty of Kolkata, my
journey in music is a harmonious blend of learning and teaching.
My desire to spread the gift of music, especially to children, is at the heart of my
teaching philosophy. The art of singing is not just a skill; it's a form of expression that
transcends boundaries, and I am passionate about passing on the knowledge I've
acquired over the years.
My journey as a music teacher has taken me through various institutions, including
Rajasthan CBSE schools such as LPA School Kakroli, Orange Council School, Saint Paul
School, Just Study Udaipur, and Sibling Model Udaipur. This diverse teaching experience
has provided me with valuable insights into catering to the musical needs of students
from different backgrounds and age groups.
Fueled by my dedication to music education, I later established my own institute,
Charukala School of Fine Art, where I continue to share the joy of music with eager
learners. Being a disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty has not only enriched my musical
knowledge but has also shaped my teaching methodology, emphasizing the traditional
and cultural aspects of Indian classical music.
In both online and offline settings, I conduct classes from 5:30 PM to 7 PM offline and
from 4:30 PM to 7 PM online. This ensures flexibility for students to access music
education according to their preferences. The classes encompass a balanced mix of
practical and theoretical components, providing a holistic learning experience.
To facilitate online learning, I leverage platforms such as video calls and Skype. These
tools enable me to connect with students, offering real-time instruction, feedback, and
interaction despite geographical distances.
My classes cover both practical aspects, including the nuances of singing and playing
musical instruments, and theoretical elements, delving into the knowledge of ragas and
the intricacies of Hindustani classical music. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to
cater to students at different skill levels, ensuring that each learner progresses at their
own pace.

As I continue on this musical journey, my goal is not only to teach the technicalities of
music but also to nurture a deep appreciation and love for the art form. I believe that
music transcends barriers and has the power to uplift and inspire. Through my
teachings, I aspire to instill this love for music in the hearts of my students, fostering a
lifelong connection to the beautiful and diverse world of Indian classical and folk
traditions.
