Soft skills as a subject is widely unknown as its application in real life is close to negligible. If we look at the current scenario where soft skills are necessary relevant knowledge and expertise lack due to newness in its adaptation. It's the need of the hour that we Indians adapt the skills so as to improve on people management, customer service and many other aspects falling under the same name. Today all companies focus on minting money and ways to enhance sales however how to retain customers, provide a lasting impression, create a name and image and consistently work on maintaining rapport is still ignored. In contrary the companies in foreign nations cater well to customers basis these soft skills. To be at par with them we need a similar know-how. Soft skills enhance our personal relationships. They nurture and provide maturity. In a nutshell soft skills will remain evergreen considering the need to know people, understand and act as per requirements.
