I have taught Mathematics in a school for about a year. I had a great learning experience because it meant not only teaching the students but much more than that. Mathematics has always been an interesting subject right from the time I was in school. I taught Mathematics to the children of 4th and 5th grades. It was really a fun experience as I not only got to understand the basic needs of the students for the subject but also tried my level best to understand where they were lagging behind. I adopted different strategies such as brief introduction to a topic, detailed overview of the main concept, proper explanation of the reasons behind solving the problems and conducting quizzes and mock sessions to test their level of understanding. The students secured good marks in exams and it had been nothing more than a gift to me.
