Rasika Bangre

As a law school teacher, my teaching experience has been both challenging and rewarding. I have taught various courses, including contracts law, property law, and civil procedure, to students with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

One of the most important aspects of my teaching philosophy is creating an engaging and interactive classroom environment. I believe that students learn best when they are actively participating in discussions and exercises that allow them to apply the legal concepts they have learned to real-world scenarios.

To achieve this, I use a variety of teaching methods such as case studies, simulations, and group discussions. In my contracts law class, for example, I often use hypothetical scenarios to help students understand how contract law applies to real-life situations. I also encourage students to analyze and critique legal cases and discuss their implications in class.

I also believe in providing constructive feedback to help students improve their legal writing and critical thinking skills. I regularly assign written assignments, including legal memos and briefs, and provide detailed feedback on their strengths and weaknesses. I also hold one-on-one office hours to help students with their writing and provide guidance on legal research.

In addition to teaching, I am also involved in mentoring and advising students. I often advise students on their course selection, and career goals, and provide guidance on how to prepare for job interviews and bar exams. I believe that building a strong relationship with my students is essential in helping them achieve their academic and professional goals.

Teaching in a law school has been a challenging and rewarding experience for me. It has allowed me to share my passion for the law with students and help them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their legal careers. I am proud to be part of shaping the next generation of legal professionals.
