After working for Byju's and Meritnation, I can tell you that the answer is 'it depends'. There are a lot of factors in influencing the response.
1) Is the child into self-learning?
If yes, then these are the tools that help your child since he can always refer to them whenever he has any doubt.
2) Is he more into understand things or is he more into cramming things?
So any person without a job tends to become a teacher. Believe it or not, but there is more self-proclaimed teachers in India than in the entire world combined. More than 95% of teachers focus upon just the question answers rather than focusing upon concepts.
3) can you take out some time to help them?
Most of the parents are qualified enough to teach themselves but still outsource that responsibility. If you can show, you can go for these courses as it is a teaching tool that will help you in teaching.
Having said that, if you don't fall under the umbrella of all three cases discussed above, you can go for a tuition teacher.
