Pratibha Pansari

Pratibha is pursuing a PhD in the area of Nanoscience at Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University. She executed her PhD research work at CeNSE, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore as an outreach scholar under the INUP-i2i programme supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Currently, she is working on natural sources-derived carbon-based quantum dots for their biomedical applications. Her research interests include the design and development of fluorescent materials for theranostic applications in photodynamic and photothermal therapy, utilizing nano and supramolecular chemistry.

Pratibha is a passionate researcher and inventor with an eye for futuristic technologies and their integration with natural products. Her career objective is to give the useful output of research work, no matter how tiny it is in the house of researchers. She aspires to inspire the next generation to explore beyond the confines of their minds and imagination. She is enthusiastic about science and technology with the added ingredient of human philosophy and her spare time belongs to literature.
