sometimes you need to wait. impulsive words and actions will only lead to chaos and will end up gaining nothing both sides.
digreements can only occur due to two reason:
greed/ personal desires over all

though being right on their own viewpoints but due to the past experiences of their own of their lives.

wait, observe, listen others too.

* after any victory, a leader should gather all and cheer them up.
* a leader must keep its promises. so he should be aware of his/her words.
