This course is for anyone who is interested in Learning Complete PCB Design, single and Double Sided
Electronics background, understanding of basic electronics components, and IC is required
Electronics educational background is preferred but is not a must
Course Contents:
1. Hand made methods of PCB Design
2. CAD Tool for PCB Design
3. Comparison of all CAD tools and selecting the right one
4. Installing the software on PC
5. Understanding the components of Schematics editor, components placement, libraries and various types of components
6. PCB foot print of components and selection
7. Creating first schematic of a simple power supply
8. Netlisting of the PCB and basic design rules
9. Creating the PCB for the power supply, using the manual routing method for creating the PCB for power supply
10. Complex schematic drawing and netlisting concepts. Designing of a microcontroller based schematic board, understanding the rules of schematic editor, netlisting and creating of custom components
11. Creating custom footprint for the custom component and adding that to the library, concepts of the PCB package, pin dimensions, and printing out the PCBs for the home production of the pcb units
12. Double sided PCB concepts, understanding of via and the top and bottom copper layer of the PCBs, create a double sided pcb layout of the microcontroller based board
13. Understanding of the production formats of the PCB, Gerber file, generation of gerber file, the PCB DRC Check and 3d View of the PCB before production
14. Generation of Gerber output, and sending PCB to manufacturer
15. PCB Quality guidelines, selection of type of PCB and manufacturer
