The classes will cover a basic introduction to psychology that you can understand even if you have no history of ever reading anything about the subject. The aim will be to spark your curiosity into the subject!

The different schools of psychology will be briefed upon and an indepth idea will then be given. This will be done through Video meet and also the powerpoint will be displayed and shared with the students.

The history of psychology will be covered, the early ideas of mental health and mental disorders and the modern understanding will be elucidated upon. The contribution of various thinkers, both western and eastern will be taught. A critical analysis of each of their ideas will be made (something psychology has a very big scope on!). Discussions on concepts and ideas will be encouraged and I hope the interest in the subject arises with the topics that we study.
