Kantha embroidery is a form of hand embroidery that started in West Bengal and have gained popularity over years due to its intricacy and simplicity. It is our country's heritage and we should not let it get lost.

Kantha embroidery have been given a modern look by implementing it in new designs.

I will be conducting a 3 days worshop focused on the the different stitches. Participants will learn the stitch and how to apply them to designs.

Anyone who has interest in embroidery can enroll for this course.It does not have require to have any prior embroidery knowledge. As said its simple, but needs patience and practice to master the beautiful art form.

All you need is cotton cloth,embroidery frame, needle, Anchor thread and scissor and your passion to learn the art which village ladies have been practicing for years to embellish cloths and home accessories.

I am very excited to conduct this workshop and meet you all!
