Rikzah Z.

Hello, my name is Rikzah Z and I have been teaching English for six years now. From my experiences, I have gathered that students have this instinctual fear when it comes to conversing in a foreign language. My style is very relaxed and based on CLT (communicative language teaching), a strategy I have found to be very effective when it comes to teaching a language. I believe in fully immersing the student in the language so that he/she starts picking up the language at a rapid rate without the unnecessary additional usage of grammatical jargon. I am a kind, polite teacher who fully realizes that every student is different and will learn at his/her own pace. I believe in active engagement and students have a voice when it comes to designing their course outline with me. I celebrate every milestone with my students to encourage them to go the extra mile to achieve their academic goals, whatever they might be. I am very passionate about teaching and apart from that, I live among my books with five cats. I look forward to having classes with you, future student!
