The most important thing is getting a good teacher. If you are in India and a city like Chennai, you can quickly get good teachers offline. If you are constrained by location, for example, if you are outside India, you can get better teachers online. Learning music online and offline is pretty much the... ...more

The most important thing is getting a good teacher. If you are in India and a city like Chennai, you can quickly get good teachers offline. If you are constrained by location, for example, if you are outside India, you can get better teachers online. Learning music online and offline is pretty much the same these days with high-speed internet connections. So, what you should look at is the comfort level and convenience of the student. If the student feels she needs offline classes itself, go for offline classes, and vice versa
