- Face your fears: One tiny step each day without fail to do what you are afraid of would lead you to a day that you would no longer be afraid of facing your fear.
- Confront your emotional triggers: What is it that breaks you down? What is it that causes you anger, pain & grief? Confront these situations, re-frame them & channelize your energy into creativity, physical activities or simply meditating.
- Learn to say 'No': Saying 'No' doesn't make you a villain. It saves you from over-commitment and from sacrificing a crucial part of your happiness trying to please others.
- Practice gratitude: Gratitude - a nine-letter word, rich in meaning & powerful in effect. Learn to be grateful for the littlest of things and the people around you.
- Go with the flow & live in the moment: No one knows tomorrow. No one knows the next moment. Live and do your best in the present & free yourself from the prison of your past.
We all have got highs and lows. Such is life. But when things seem to be headed south, remind yourself that you are a winner, and winners are those who defeat all odds.
