Often, we go about our days and lives without much self-reflection. Hence, we aren't able to bring about any change in our lives. If life seems to be fulfilling, then you might be on the right track, but if through your daily lives, you get a nagging feeling that you aren't living it to the fullest, or some aspect of it is dissatisfying, you might want to examine what exactly needs to be changed. Is it your job, your relationships or your nature?
To bring about a lasting positive change, try following these few steps.
1. Identify your problem areas. Defining it clearly can open up your mind to solutions. You could start journaling.
2. Work on one area at a time. Go in-depth. Reflect what has worked for you in the past and what hasn't.
3. Research- Look out for books, videos, experts in the respective fields and do your study.
4. Application- Apply at least one teaching that you have learned from your research, for 21 days consistently.
5. Journal your progress. Evaluate yourself. Dont be too self-critical. Go easy on yourself if you aren't where you had planned. It's okay to have a few detours. The idea is to get started and to move.
