I liked that you wish to change something to improve yourself! You should definately learn python because it's a time's need now as we know that in India nowadays most of the students of all branches are getting in place in IT companies, you will ask how? The reason is, the company needs well-learned students regardless of their College, department, percentages. They need employees who know their work and who all are flexible to take a subject like a python even if they are of other components, the company need knowledge. So if you gain useful experience definitely, you can have a bright future.
