This course is for TE E&TC 2012,2015 pattern students. Due to exam pattern of Pune university it is very difficult to teach this subject to students from conceptual point of view. It's big challenge for the teacher. As University exam pattern in most of colleges teacher teaching this subject as per exam point of view. The syllabus is vast for this subject. So hardly 4 units cover. As the importance of this subject, student must understand basic concepts of this subject. This subject is Base of communication. So communication start with maxwells equation. If students can understand physical meaning of these maxwell equations, then can understand antenna theory. Later microwave engineering. So to understand this subject basic requirement is basic mathematics. Students must know vector, scalar, vector algebra. Co-ordinate system. So we will try to cover basic of vector and co-ordinate system. Once student understand vector, it's very easy them to understand the basic concepts of electric field and magnetic filed. Because electric field and magnetic field are vector quantity. The aim of this subject to understand basic concepts of electric and magnetic filed. This subject can be summarised into maxwells 4 equations. Unit 5 is related to transmission lines and unit 6 is wave theory. Need lot of practice. So most focus on practice and unit wise test conduction.
