I have arranged various Science Olympiad preparatory workshops. Students in these workshops were the representatives of different areas of Maharashtra state and from different educational background. This experience has given me insight how to teach so that everyone in the class can understand the concept and enjoy the learning.
I have also developed Physics content in various formats like videos, simple animations, experiments, games, activities and projects on various concepts. I think different formats lit up different aspect of same concept. E.g. through experiment we can verify the laws and through activities we can experience the application of same law. Videos and small animations play important roles too. Some concepts can be understood better via visual presentation than only textual presentation.
I have designed papers for Maharashtra Olympiad movement exam for 6 years. It has given me very different perspective of question designing. I have designed questions in various formats like multiple choice single correct, multiple choice multiple correct, two stage reasoning questions, and interdisciplinary questions, questions based on multiple concepts, higher order thinking questions, video and audio based questions. I have designed such questions that will provoke thinking process.
I was the part of 46th International Physics Olympiad (IPHO) held in Mumbai. I have contributed in experimental component of 46th IPHO. It has given me opportunity to interact with.
