IdentityI identify by and large as a mathematics educator and enthusiast, my own academic background being in Mathematics. Back in college, I have not been engaged in the academic study of pure mathematics, but have also been part of the organizing team of the first annual conference and fest dedicated to the exploration of Mathematics held at the same place. I followed up my mathematical pursuit with an M.Sc. in Applications of Mathematics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute. I have also provided training to guides working on installations at a Mathematics Exhibition held at Goethe Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, Kolkata, in August, 2013. I would like to tutor school and college students in the FY level, and ensure a head start to their mathematical journeys, or simply that they make good use of numbers in their academic and day to day lives.
Aside from academics I have other wide range of interests from Food and Travel to Music and Dancing. I am avid Speedcuber, which basically means I can solve the Rubik's Cube really fast, even with one hand or even blindfolded, yes! You too can solve the Rubik's Cube.
