Hi Kartik,
You can try: a) Diary writing / journalling end of everyday of all that happened during the day and the emotions you went through. b) Describing a situation at college / workplace or at home c) describing a movie or someone's life story, in brief.
Above all, read read & read a lot of books / articles / blogs to get a feeler of how concise and sharp you can get while writing. One way to do this, is to read your essays/ journal to cut out any duplicate words / phrases & replacing a sentence or part of it with a better word. Ofcourse, for this you'll need a dictionary / google synonyms. This way, you diction also will improve & you'll start using words that are closest in meaning. Secondly, you can make your writings beautiful by introducing a lot of metaphors (create your own). For example, if someone has started performing well on the job, you may describe it with your own visualisation as "she has started galloping like a horse"
Hope this helps!
