Why string objects are immutable?

We cannot change the String object because String is immutable. Vice-versa is not the same. String is immutable because of the security. Sting is storing the data in String Pool which can be used by multiple reference of String object. So during creation of String it is searching in the Pool the value... ...more

If present object is pointing to the String. So multiple object can refer to single value.

What is use of interface in Java language?

In Java 1.8, Interface can contain the default body of a method which is called default method.

Is there any difference between Serializalble and Externalizable interface?

Serializable Interface has its own standard protocol to implement serialization capability. But implementing Externalizable interface developer needs to implement writeExternal and readExternal methods. Externalizable extends Serializable.
