Power BI and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) are like tools in a toolbox, each good for different jobs. SSRS is older and great for making detailed, fixed reports (like PDFs) where you need everything to stay in place. Power BI, however, is newer and focuses on making interactive charts and dashboards that you can click through and explore. While Power BI is becoming more popular because it's flashy and flexible, SSRS isn't going away. Many companies still use it for specific types of reports. Think of Power BI as adding new possibilities rather than replacing SSRS completely. Both have their place depending on what you need to do.
