Ask him to read short stories aloud. There are many videos and audiobooks on children stories. Hearing the audios will help me know the correct pronunciations as well. Also, encourage him to increase his vocabulary. Set goals like every day learning five new English words and using them in a sentence. Let the learning be fun and do not burden him.
