I am a research scholar doing research in epidemology from Kariavattom Campus. I have been teaching classical dance for past 10 to 12 yrs now . I have completed my Diploma in Bharatanatyam (3yrs) from Chandigarh University. I started learning Bharatanatyam from the age of 5 under the guidance of Guru Kodainarayanan maam, renowned dance artist from Tamil Nadu. She taught me Bharatanatyam in Kalashetra style which is typical style of Bharatanatyam.

I am also a trained kuchipudi dancer, trained under the guidance of Guru Smt Seetha Nagajyothi, student of The Great Guru Vempati Chinna Sathyam. Under her guidance I had the great opportunity to participate in many national level dance programs conducted. Later I joined Kuchipudi Academy in Delhi Malayalee Association under the guidance of Smt Dr Nisha Rani. Nisha maam opened a bundle of opportunities for me to perform in numerous program in Delhi and also outside.

Other than this, I am also a well known Mohiniyattam artist. I took guidance for this form from my very dearest Guru Kalamandalam Anita Babu . I have also Represented Kerala culture art form in Delhi on the occation of World Dance Day program conducted by the Ministry of Cultural Affiars, Govt of India.

All my schooling and dance was completed in Delhi . I am well versed in Hindi and English. Dance is my life and even today I practice, teach and talk about the culture we have. Since my mother is very fond of classical dance she made sure I learn each dance form from its style of endurance. She made sure that I follow traditional form of dance, that is why I learned 3 dance forms from 3 different teachers making sure I get my basics strong.

I love teaching dance to kids as they are very much flexible and understanding towards the each thalam. Teaching dance is my passion.
