About Me

I am a Research Scholar in Computational Physics currently working on an Astrophysical research problem. I am also passionate about teaching young minds and communicating complex scientific concepts to a general audience..



Academic Qualifications

* I am a Gold Medallist in my Undergraduate degree in Physics with Computer Applications

* I was a Distinction Student during my Master's degree in Physics.

Experience

* I have been tutoring students from 9th to 12th standards in Physics and Mathematics unofficially since my Undergraduate days. Most of them being in-person sessions and some of them online.

* I was a part-time tutor at a CBSE where I handled Physics for 12th and Astrophysics for 8th,9th, and 10th. I also have sufficient experience designing questions for their internal assessments and teaching laboratory sessions.

Teaching Methodology

1. Teaching complex topics should be straightforward and shouldn't resort to over-simplified analogies. I prefer teaching the concept by explaining it as it is and highlighting the history behind it.

2. I spend around 30-45 mins summarising a concept. I prefer explaining the history behind it and constructing a logical pathway to its conception and why it makes sense.

3. I nudge the students to come up with logical conclusions by providing them with hints and referring related ideas.

4. I end sessions with references to advanced and related concepts that will motivate students to research further into what they have learnt.

5. I set a non-judgemental atmosphere where anyone can ask any questions anytime. By having an open mind, I can make the student confident enough to ask questions.

6. I accept and encourage the individuality of the students.
