Dr S Praveenkumar

I would like to introduce myself as a very academic oriented and skilled research fellow with good exposure on MEMS, Biosensors, Biochemistry, Bio-filters and doctoral research on Microfluidics (structured based biofilters). I have completed my PhD and have been working in Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai, India since 2007.

I worked on Porous silicon formation for microfluidics as Biofilters for filtering various biomolecules by varying the size using wet Electrochemical Etching Method, PDMS based Microchannels for Bio applications, and have more ideas on Biofilters and have knowledge in writing Proposals for funding agencies.

I am considering various esteemed institutions and Research Labs which can offer me great opportunities not only to enhance my skills but also to contribute widely to the development of an institution academic and Research. I wanted to work with a excellent clean room facility in Biosensors, Biofilters and my areas covers Biochemistry based Bio-molecule seperation and have a novelty study to implement point of care Devices.
