My fingers are hurt and have deep grooves; should I stop practicing for a while?

Take It Easy .. Fingers Are More Important Then Guitar. Its A Part Of The Process Though :)

Can I use a plectrum on my classical guitar?

No .. Classical Guitar Is Supposed To Be Played Finger Style , Only Then We Can Get A Great Tone. Also We Cannot Play "Recuerdos De La Alhambra" With A Plectrum hahhaha ;)

Can I put steel strings on my classical guitar?

Use "D'addario Normal Tension" For Your Classical Guitar. Steel Strings Are For Acoustic And Electric Guitars :)

What is the difference between open chords and power chords?

Open Chords Include Open Strings. Power Chord Includes Only " SA PA". For Example Power Chords Out Of "c-d-e-f-g-a-b-c" C-G ... ...more
