He not only teaches us to sing or play but also inculcates an appreciation of music, which is hard to find among a lot of other teachers. He is not rigid with his lessons and factors the temperament of the student at the start of the class while deciding upon the lesson for that class. He is a whole-hearted teacher who applies himself to every student at every class. He is the best choice for anyone who is really interested in learning music. "

"We wanted to enroll our son Sai under the tutorship of Murali Sir because we wanted Sai to somehow stay connected to our cultural roots. We felt that an English-medium education combined with over exposure to pervasive Western pop culture (English language cartoons, animated movies, books, games on smartphones etc) may leave very little space for exposure to our native Tamizh and Indian cultural knowledge systems. Luckily, Murali Sir agreed to take Sai as a student back in September 2018. Like most children, Sai usually loses interest in new activities that he is introduced to. But Murali Sir has been kind and patient while teaching Sai, and this has resulted in Sai enjoying the process of learning something new. This has increased Sai's perseverance (sticking to something without giving up) and self-discipline (ability to spend a length of time on a given activity) in today's environment which is dominated by instant gratification and low attention spans. Our family is very happy with Sai's progress, and we sincerely thank Murali Sir for his guidance, wisdom, and for accepting Sai's as a student. Our best wishes to Murali Sir and Vidhvath School of Music. "

"When we were looking for online piano classes for our daughter, we found many tutors but we wanted to try with Mr.Murali based on the review from many students. We are very pleased that we made the right decision to go with him. We started with piano classes 2 years ago and I can see a huge difference in my daughter's learning of piano in these 2 years. Mr.Murali has been doing a great job by keeping the classes live and giving essential tips for improvement. My daughter likes him so much as he is very kind and teaches with patience. Though he is very friendly, he doesn't miss to be strict when it comes to practices. He doesn't force to practice, but keeps reminding my daughter politely about the importance of practice. This makes her understand it better and she is practicing herself with more interest nowadays. My daughter was also learning carnatic music from another tutor online for some time. However we were not very happy with the output and we were looking for other options. When we realized that Mr.Murali himself takes carnatic classes, my daughter herself proposed to learn from him. So we started carnatic classes also with him and we can definitely see the excellent results after started learning from him. We wanted to give good foundation of music for our daughter and I am witnessing it happening. In short, he is a great teacher with lot of knowledge and if someone is looking for a Piano or carnatic tutor, I would highly recommend Vidvath School of Music. "
