The skill of learning is the first skill that you should develop as it dramatically helps in developing other skills. Motivation is the key ingredient here because if you are motivated to learn about a subject, it will be easier to learn it and curiosity to know more has a significant role here as a curious person remains naturally motivated.
Another essential point is that you should have a concrete example of what you want to be to know where and how far you should go in developing your skills. Furthermore, make quality efforts, take feedbacks of your efforts, measure them comprehensively and act upon them.
