Hindustani music belong to north India, mp, Maharashtra, up, Delhi, region,
Karnatak sangeet belongs to south India, like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka & Tamilnadu
Both types of music have all seven notes, but Karnataka music a little bit difficult than Hindustani music, Karnataka music has different notation, Hindustan music has a natural notation language.
A beginner should learn Hindustani music if he lives in North India.
