UPSC Exams Coaching

"Its waste of time to join in Shikara academy. I joined for group 2 coaching in Jan 2017, am giving my review in Aug 17. It's been seven months but the syllabus is not yet completed, the classes were never on schedule. The director of shikara deals with three subjects- polity, Social issues and Telangana formation and always class is delayed by half and hour. And the classes are cancelled all of a sudden without any prior intimation. Still not sure when the syllabus is going to be completed. "

"The best facility Shikara academy provides is a 24x7 library facility. The staff at the institution are quite cooperative. The teachers patiently clarify doubts. The classes are supervised. I made a wise decision of joining the institute. "

Group 2

"One needs a lot of patience to attend classes at shikara. This has been my personal experience because they ensure that each and every topic mentioned in the syllabus is covered, even if they have to extend the classes. This initially a pain, later is helpful as now after the coaching I realise that I have all the material I need for the exam. I don't have to buy any extra material from the class including current affairs which was also taught in class. I am satisfied with what I got from Shikara as it was more than worth the money I spent. "

"I first met Deepika Maam in 2012 as a confused college pass out who had just embarked on the civil Services Exam journey. And since then, Maam has not only a guide and mentor to me but also a source of inspiration. She was one of the main reasons why I cleared the exam in 2012 at the age of 22.
