Microsoft Excel was developed by Microsoft, but the original concept and development work were significantly influenced by two individuals: Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston, who created VisiCalc, the first spreadsheet software. However, the actual development of Microsoft Excel itself was led by Doug Klunder at Microsoft. Excel was first released in 1985 for the Apple Macintosh as a competitor to Lotus 1-2-3, which was the dominant spreadsheet program for DOS at that time. The first version of Excel for Windows, Excel 2.0, was released in 1987, capitalizing on the growing popularity of the Windows operating system and eventually becoming the leading spreadsheet software.

Hi, I'm BCA graduate, and I have seven years in the general insurance field now I want to change my profile and upgrade my knowledge. Will learning python help me with my growth in my career?
Hi, as far as my knowledge goes first, you should learn data processing tools or programs like MS Excel, Power Bi, or SQL then you should then take a leap into Python, which will make automating your work quite simple.
