This course will give you the inside scoop when it comes to fashion photography, both in studio and on location. The course covers a variety of fashion photography tips, including fashion photography poses, props for fashion photography, makeup & styling and creative lighting setups for fashion photography. You will also have an inside look into planning for a fashion shoot so that you can achieve stunning results like this yourself.

- Camera, gear and equipment
- Camera settings - exposure, shutter speed, ISO, light meter reading, depth of field, aperture, white balance, focus setting
- Setting up the studio
- Planning for shoot - Models are invited for shoots exclusively for students. We will cover the planning required for a successful fashion shoot – from selecting the right model, sourcing the best outfits and setting the sets. Conceptualise and successfully bring to life your creative and eye-catching ideas.
- Shoot session with a model - makeup, styling, posing, photography
- Light - Types, Sources, Understanding The Shadows, Directions
- Reflectors - Proper ways to use the reflectors for outdoor and indoor shoots
- Fill flash, built-in flash, external flash, TTL Flashes
- Studio lighting setups
- Composite images from how to create them to how to process them for final outputs
- Photo capture set up - Photo background selection, Shot Plan, Scene Creation, Use of props, backgrounds, surfaces and linens
- Make up & styling - Understanding the impact on photographs
- Art of Posing
- Studio & outdoor photography
- Intro to editing in Adobe Photoshop
- Assignments - Will help you understand and grasp the art of photography. We will review the assignments and provide constructive feedback to achieve your goals
Pre-requisites:
- You should have a working knowledge using a digital DSLR camera with interchangeable lenses and using external flashes. You should be familiar with f/stops, shutter speeds, ISO, light meter reading and getting a correct exposure. If you have very little technical knowledge, you will need to learn the technicals, refer to the Course "Fundamentals of Photography (Advanced)" - You can avail discounts, refer to "Offers" Tab
- DSLR interchangeable lens camera is a great option for taking this course. DSLR camera and equipment required during this course is shared with you to help you learn
